Office clearance and furniture removal in London

Van Thats Quick provides fast, reliable office clearance across London — clearing out desks, chairs, cabinets, IT equipment and general office waste that a business no longer needs. Whether you are downsizing, refurbishing, closing a floor or handing back a unit at the end of a lease, we strip the space back to empty, load everything into the van, and dispose of it properly, so the space is ready to hand over or fit out again.

Not the same as office removals. If you are relocating a working office to new premises — desks, screens, filing and equipment moving with you to a new address — that is our office removals service. Office clearance is the opposite: it is for getting rid of and disposing of old furniture, IT and waste you are leaving behind, not for moving it. If you are not sure which you need, call us and we will point you the right way.

We clear the full range of office contents. Furniture: desks, pedestals and workstations, office chairs, filing cabinets and storage units, meeting and boardroom tables, reception furniture, shelving and partitioning. IT and electricals: monitors, PCs, laptops, printers, servers, cabling and other WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment), all routed to the correct recycling stream rather than mixed in with general waste. We also take general office waste and cardboard, and can advise on secure handling of confidential paper — including referral to a shredding partner where a certificate of destruction is needed.

This service is used most by businesses downsizing or refurbishing an office, landlords and letting agents clearing a vacated unit before re-letting, companies closing down or relocating who have left old kit behind, end-of-lease dilapidations clear-outs, and coworking spaces or retail units being reset for a new fit-out. Whatever the reason for the clear-out, the job is the same: everything unwanted comes out, and the space is left clean and ready.

Duty of care and where your waste goes. Commercial waste has to be handled properly, with the right paperwork behind it. We take office waste to licensed transfer stations and recycling facilities, and we are always transparent about the process — we can explain how your waste was handled and where it went, for your own records and duty of care. WEEE is kept separate and routed to the correct electrical recycling stream, and usable furniture in good condition is directed to reuse or charity where suitable, rather than sent straight to landfill.

Out-of-hours and around your business. A clear-out does not have to interrupt trading. We regularly work early mornings, evenings and weekends so desks and equipment can come out before or after office hours, with no disruption to staff or clients during the working day. We cover London boroughs and business districts from our Uxbridge base, with same-day and next-day slots usually available, and every job is covered by goods-in-transit and public liability insurance.

Pricing is based on how much space your clearance takes up in the van — the same load-based pricing we use for all commercial waste jobs. A part load starts from £75, a half load from £125, a three-quarter load from £210, and a full van load from £340. For larger jobs — a whole floor, a multi-room strip-out, or several vans' worth — send us photos or arrange a quick site visit and we will give you a fixed quote before any work starts.

Getting an office cleared should not mean chasing a dozen different contractors for furniture, IT and waste separately. We handle all of it in one visit: dismantling where needed, carrying everything out, loading the van, and taking it away for recycling or reuse the same day wherever possible. To book, call 07547 467335, send photos on WhatsApp, or request a quote. And if you are moving to a new office rather than clearing an old one, see our office removals page instead.

Related services that often come up alongside an office clear-out include general commercial waste removal for ongoing collections, rubbish removal for smaller ad-hoc loads, furniture delivery if new furniture is arriving as the old is cleared, and our core man and van service for anything that does not fit neatly into a clearance job. Full pricing details for every service are on our pricing page.
