These Terms & Conditions govern the services provided by Van Thats Quick ("we", "us", "our"). By requesting a quote or booking a job with us, you agree to these terms.

Our services

We provide man and van hire, house and office removals, furniture and single-item delivery, marketplace and IKEA collection and delivery, courier services, and same-day rubbish & waste removal and house clearances across London and surrounding areas.

Quotes and pricing

  • Man and van hire starts from £45 per hour, including a van and driver. Final pricing depends on the size of the job, distance, access, and time required.
  • Quotes are based on the information you provide. If the job differs materially on the day (more items, difficult access, waiting time), the price may be adjusted — we will always tell you before proceeding.
  • We provide a clear price upfront with no hidden fuel surcharges.

Bookings and cancellations

A booking is confirmed once we agree a date and time with you. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give us as much notice as possible so we can offer the slot to someone else. We reserve the right to charge for wasted journeys where the job cannot go ahead for reasons outside our control.

Your responsibilities

  • Provide accurate details about the job, items, and access;
  • Ensure safe and legal access and, where needed, arrange parking or permits at collection and delivery points;
  • Be available (or nominate someone) to give access and confirm the work;
  • Remove or separately transport cash, jewellery, documents and other high-value or irreplaceable items.

Items we cannot transport

For safety and legal reasons we cannot carry hazardous, flammable, explosive or illegal materials, or livestock. Please tell us in advance about anything unusually heavy, fragile, or awkward so we can plan the job properly.

Liability and insurance

We carry goods-in-transit and public liability insurance. Our liability is limited to the value of the services provided and, where applicable, the terms of our insurance cover. We are not liable for pre-existing damage, for items packed by you that are inadequately protected, or for indirect or consequential loss. Any claim for loss or damage should be reported to us in writing within a reasonable time (and in any event within 7 days) of completion.

Rubbish and waste removal

Where we remove rubbish or waste, we transfer it to licensed and authorised facilities and aim to recycle wherever possible. We handle household, garden and general waste; certain regulated materials may be excluded or require special arrangements.

Payment

Payment is due on completion of the job unless otherwise agreed in writing. We will confirm accepted payment methods when you book.

Privacy and cookies

We handle your personal information in line with our Privacy Policy. Our website uses cookies and similar technologies for analytics and advertising measurement — what they are, what we use and how to manage them is set out in our Cookie Policy. By using this website you agree to that use where your consent is required.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time you book applies to your job.
