Credentials & verification
Everything you would want to check before letting a stranger take your things away — and, where we can, a link so you can check it yourself rather than taking our word for it. If any of this is missing from a company quoting you, ask them why.
Registered waste carrier
We are registered with the Environment Agency. Ask for the details covering your collection and check them free on the EA public register.
Insurance
Ask us for the current certificate, cover limits and exclusions that apply to your job before you book. We send it on request rather than publishing a blanket claim you cannot check.
Waste transfer paperwork
Available on request for any collection, so your Household Waste Duty of Care is documented. The liability for fly-tipped waste follows the householder, not only the carrier.
Are you a licensed waste carrier?
Yes. Van Thats Quick is a registered waste carrier with the Environment Agency. Ask us for the registration details for your collection and verify them yourself on the Environment Agency public register before anything is loaded. We would rather you checked than took our word for it — and you should ask the same of anyone else quoting you.
Why it matters more than it sounds: under the Household Waste Duty of Care the responsibility for waste from your home does not end when someone drives off with it. If it is fly-tipped, the trail comes back to you as well as to whoever dumped it. Checking the register is free, takes under a minute, and is the single most useful thing you can do before booking any clearance — with us or with anyone.
Disposal and recycling fees are inside our published prices, so there is no separate tipping charge at the end, and waste transfer paperwork for your load is available on request.
Reviews you can read yourself
As at 2026-08-19 we have 5.0 from 22 reviews on Google and 5.0 from 3 on Yell.
That is all of them. We are a small local crew rather than a national booking platform and we are not going to pretend otherwise — but every one of those reviews is public, unedited and one tap away, which is worth rather more than a five-figure review count you have no practical way of reading.

Verification — your questions answered
Is Van Thats Quick a licensed waste carrier?
Yes. Van Thats Quick is a registered waste carrier with the Environment Agency. Ask us for the registration details covering your collection and verify them on the Environment Agency public register at environment.data.gov.uk before anything is loaded. Waste transfer paperwork for your collection is available on request.
How do I check a waste carrier is genuine before booking?
Ask for the registered carrier’s name and registration, then search it on the Environment Agency public register at environment.data.gov.uk — it is free and takes under a minute. Anyone who takes waste from your property must be registered. This matters because under the Household Waste Duty of Care the liability for fly-tipped waste follows you, the householder, not just the person who dumped it. If a company will not give you the details, that is the answer.
Is Van Thats Quick insured?
Ask us for the current certificate, the cover limits and the exclusions that apply to your items and your job before you book. We will send it. We do not publish blanket "fully insured" claims because cover limits and exclusions differ by job, and a blanket claim is not something you can check.
What reviews does Van Thats Quick have?
5.0 from 22 reviews on Google and 5.0 from 3 on Yell, as at 2026-08-19. That is all of them — this is a small local crew, not a national booking platform, and every review is public and readable in one tap rather than being a five-figure count you have no way of reading.
Where is Van Thats Quick based and what areas do you cover?
Two bases: Uxbridge (UB8) and Chalfont St Peter (SL9). Same-day priority across the London Borough of Hillingdon and South Bucks — Uxbridge, Hillingdon, Hayes, Ruislip, Ickenham, Northwood, West Drayton, Gerrards Cross, the Chalfonts, Denham, Iver and Beaconsfield — and we cover every London borough plus the Home Counties.
What happens to the waste after you take it away?
It goes to a licensed transfer station or recycling centre and is separated by material — metal, wood, cardboard, textiles, electricals and green waste. Upholstered furniture is kept apart and incinerated rather than recycled: since January 2023 the Environment Agency presumes every domestic sofa, armchair and padded chair contains persistent organic pollutants, which is why soft seating carries its own disposal fee. We do not publish a recycling percentage, because the sorting happens after our van has left and we cannot evidence a figure we did not measure.
Are your prices the final price?
Yes. Van Thats Quick is not VAT registered, so every published price is the price paid — there is nothing to add. The full ladder is on the pricing page before you book, and if a job turns out to be bigger than quoted you hear the new price before anything goes in the van, not on the invoice.
